The first in our series of interviews, resulting in entries here on our blog and podcast via iTunes on our upcoming channel, will be with a very experienced and successful fashion and editorial model from London.
We are yet to do our interview, so if you want to know from the horses mouth so to speak (she certainly ain't no horse) how to get the best from your model and how best to simply piss them off and get on their wrong side - get your questions to us now...
We'll be getting down and dirty towards the end of November after she gets back from the US and we have done a charity motor race for the Northamptonshire Air Ambulance - Lot's of pics and news of that coming.
There are two key reasons we have chosen this particular model. The first is simply that we know her very well. The second is that she is in the process of transitioning full time, from being in front of the camera to being behind it. So who better to ask some the key questions you really ned answering in order to get the very best out of your time with a model.
Some of the key areas we will be covering are:
- Vision
- Planning
- The set
- The mood
- The execution
- Processing
- Whatever questions you may have...
So - Get your questions in to us in the next couple of weeks and we'll make sure that we ask them for you.
Footnote: The Northamptonshire Air Ambulance is just one of the three charities that we here at Ginkgo support - So as to no leave the others out... We also support the Hampshire Air Ambulance and Naomi House Children's Hospice.
Of special note, is that Naomi House had the misfortune of having significant funds invested in one of the Icelandic institutions that disappeared and they are currently in the middle of building a fantastic complex to accommodate, entertain and look after even more kids who are very sadly not likely to see their next birthdays or christmas. So if you have a moment, please pop over to their site and see if there is anything you can do to help them in their time of very real need.
