Sadly not! But, I for one would record every episode, purely to repeatedly watch in the vain attempt to try to understand the unearthly animals that make up the Palace of Westminster.
This is a close second though - [Viewer discretion is advised, contains nudity, old no longer acceptable non-PC jokes and worst of all - satirical humour]
With the country in the midst of the worst economic downturn in living memory and possibly in history, it would seem, that those we know as MP’s of any persuasion have totally dropped the ball because they have been found out to be the animals that we always suspected they were.
Hands in our pockets and the total disrespect of those that they say they serve, making pathetic excuses like a young schoolboy caught with his hand in charity collection pot.
Or in this case, half of the school breaking in to the local Children’s Hospice and stealing all the terminal children’s toys, clothes, shoes and loose change.
Too harsh?
No!
With a huge proportion of the country feeling the terminal financial pinch of the lunacy that is called ‘policy’ by our Orwellian leaders, the pigs have been caught lining their pockets while the rest of the farm either starves or watches helplessly as everything around them crumbles.
What was their first reaction? To squeal, snort and stamp their feet, demanding police investigations into how such a breach of security could have occurred. I mean, it’s treason that we should know what they are doing with our money, on our behalf...
After all - They had largely, collectively, tried to silence the freedoms of information that they themselves say they gave us.
And then, when they had been caught out - or were likely to be on list in the next tranché to be caught out, they turn, like a desperate pack to focus their and their observers attentions on the easiest and weakest member of the pack - Easy, yet inappropriate prey.
The leader of the house - yes, that totally ceremonial person perched on his throne chosen by the pack to try to bring some resemblance of order to the beasts in the chamber has been turned on by his selectors in an abhorrent display of self preservation to be held responsible for something he likely didn’t even know about but is apparently responsible for.
After all, if the utterly unbelievable claims are submitted by the beasts and approved by Civil Servants managed within a department he has probably never steped foot in - It must be his fault after all - Because he is responsible! And if you’re responsible, quote our current PM, Gordon Brown:
“I take full responsibility and therefore I have ensured that those responsible have been removed and dealt with”. Clever, did you see what he managed to do there? No, neither did I...
And in the meantime, the media, bless their cotton socks, blindly follow follow the pack because they smell the blood and eager for the public kill, so they can transmit it first hand to their audience 24/7 with as much speculation and rumour as they can fit in to pad it out, to those who quite frankly, couldn't give a shit.
Meanwhile, the everyday crap that actually has to be endured by the rest of us, looking on in disbelief, is not being dealt with or even spoken about. At least while the power struggle is under way and the scent of blood reigns in the air. Coincidence perhaps?
With the exception, of course, of the bid to spend bucket loads more money that we don’t have on the 2018 World Cup to keep the seagulls distracted.
The attacks on the leader of the house were quite frankly despicable, selfish and downright uncomfortable to watch.
I do not have a great deal of time for him. Part of the Culloden Mafia, he has been partisan for many years with the New Labour machine that appears to do whatever it can to disable the Britain PLC (might just be incompetence of course) and in parallel increase internal nationalist struggles whilst condemning those that occur abroad.
But he is still a man, a person and an individual with feelings, emotions and cares.
Unlike the pack-hounds (or pigs) that set upon him yesterday...
I actually felt quite sickened and utterly angered by the display of the beasts in their layer.
Currently, I am utterly embarrassed to be British. I am of Scottish descent - Like it matters! Go back far enough I'm sure I probably Mongolian descent too.
I am British first and foremost and beholden only to the Crown - And yet in a time when our country is on the boarder of going to the dogs, we have a bunch of utter self-servient arses running around shouting, stamping and doing everything they can to protect their pathetic, non-servient, scant, self interest careers....
I have seen in recent days polls and slots on Radio 4’s Today program stating that we should have a tick box on our electoral form requesting “none of the above” - As in the 80’s movie, Brewster’s Millions.
Oh yes please! Perhaps the nation giving the rulers of the farm the bird and setting them loose to try to make an honest living might actually let the point sink in at last that we despise them for what they have become and what they our doing to our great and proud land.
Let’s be honest - if the crown were to have to act as interim government while we sort out the pestilent, infested bog that is our current political system. I for one think we may actually stick with them - after all - they actually do care...
So after this rant to try to make me feel better, what am I trying say?
Not a lot really - Apart from (and this may have a potentially serious impact on my employability) let’s get rid of them at the polls and try get it right. Or at least as best we can with what we have got.
Or is that actually where we already are?
Either way - European elections are about to start along with local elections. Then we will soon have the national elections - Let’s together make use of them the way we are supposed to - we have the tools already to deal with them - we just don’t use them. So rather than sitting on our arses watching prime time reality crap on our 42” plasma tellies, resigned to being screwed whilst slowly drinking our selves in oblivion. Tick a box on the ballot for someone who actually gives a crap - At least in the absence of ‘None of the Above’.

It's so nice to have you do all of the research for us. It makes our decision making so much easier!! Thanks.
