This weekend, I will be making my business to go all out to produce some truly stunning images of what can only be described as a truly remarkable car! The 2009 Nissan GTR.
On Saturday afternoon, this beast (except it is black with gun metal alloys) will be roaring its way through the Hampshire countryside to my airfield based studio with the the sole intention of looking its prettiest for me and only me. Sadly there will be no Stig on hand to thrash it around the track on the airfield for two reasons... One, the Stig is currently trying to figure out the new Ferrari before the forthcoming European Grand Prix. And two, the only track we have on our airfield is made of soil and grass.
Whilst this is undoubtedly one of the most remarkable cars that has ever been made and even more so for its truly unbelievable price point. I do have to be honest and say that pretty much every picture I have seen of it has been a little bit.... well... crap.
Having already seen one in action on the open road, I have absolutely no idea how the images that have been created and used for marketing, promotion and general publication, have managed to to totally miss the mark in portraying the modern beauty and poise of this four wheel drive, technological monster.
So, I am making it my business to have a crack at doing just that.
Given I have openly provided myself with a challenge, I will of course be publishing the results. And, in addition, will be publishing each step of the workflow. From pre capture to publication.
For those not familiar with this motoring marvel. Below is an 8 minute clip from Top Gear with a Clarksonian review.

It's so nice to have you do all of the research for us. It makes our decision making so much easier!! Thanks.
